This is at sunrise, right as the sun is lighting the trees. There is a light amount of smoke over the mountains in the rear. The smoke is from a fire in the eastern part of Yellowstone. Reflection Into Midway Geyser Pool before Sunrise

On a frosty fall morning in 2009, I went out onto the boardwalks at Midway Geyser Pool at Yellowstone National Park. Right before the sun peeked above the nearby hillside, I shot right into the runoff water from the geyser pools. The reflection of the purple sky provides a nice color onto the rock formation.
