The Wave October 2012

Here are some draft scans of photos I took while at the wave (no cleaning yet). I am very happy with the black and white photos, especially the Infrared (Rollei IR400) photos using an opaque IR filter (Hoya R72).

I really love this rock formation. Catching it in reflected light with color film is wonderful. I wish I had a wider angle lens to catch a real long shot of a wall of the wave. Shooting near noon with black and white proved to be an awesome photographic opportunity.

The color photos was taken with a Pentax 6x7 with a SMC Pentax 45mm F4 wide angle lens (aprox 24mm equivalent to full frame 135) using Kodak Ektachrome E100VS film (sad to see this film getting discontinued!)

The black and white photos were taken with a Rolleiflex Automat RF111a (cira 1939) with Zeiss 75mm F3.5 normal angle lens. This is a 6x6 Twin Lens Reflex (TLR) box camera.
